As a seasoned writer and communications professional, I provide editorial and creative services for clients in the financial, technology, healthcare and nonprofit sectors. During my 15-year career, I have worked with just about every variety of communication tool – from incisive ads to insightful op-eds to in-depth corporate reports.

Currently, I am working on a freelance basis for clients on the East Coast and in the Midwest. Prior to starting my own business, I served as Editorial Director for The Weiser Group, a boutique communications firm located in New York City. After joining the firm in 1997, I developed a wide variety of creative materials, including award-winning ads and internationally-recognized annual reports for a number of financial institutions and NYSE-listed corporations. My editorial work on behalf of clients has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, New York Post , San Francisco Chronicle and St. Louis Post-Dispatch, as well as in numerous trade magazines.

When I wasn't developing ad campaigns or collateral, I assisted the firm's senior members in message development, brand positioning and other high-level communications initiatives. I also served as the firm's in-house media planner and webmaster.

I hold a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois, where I wrote a weekly humor column for the Daily Illini as a sophomore. In addition, I earned a B.A. In Teacher Education in English from Northeastern Illinois University in 2005. A recent transplant to Duluth, Minn., I have written freelance articles and columns for a number of local publications including the Duluth News Tribune, Living North and the Transistor.
